Will, a boy who has been sick his entire life, wakes to an empty, silent house—his family is gone. The player must help him navigate the corrupted house, fighting off terrifying decay at every turn. His search ends in tragedy: Will finds his family, but they've been infected by the very corruption plaguing the house. He is forced to cleanse his mother, reducing her to dust, and discovers his father already dead. With his sister, Wendy, as his last remaining hope, Will must continue the fight.
